The Jnanasukha Foundation is now accepting applications for scholarships to help individuals further their study and practice in the Nyingma tradition, especially the Dudjom New Treasures (Tersar) and The Dakini Heart Essence (Khandro Thuk Thik).

The foundation welcomes applications from individuals around the world. Preference is given to those who have studied and practiced Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism for at least 10 years, to those who have completed or will complete the traditional three-year retreat, and to monastics.

Candidates must demonstrate financial need.

Awards of US$250–600 are available twice a year, and there are no restrictions to the number of awards an applicant may receive. In general, the foundation will send awards directly to host organizations and institutions and not to individuals, unless circumstances so dictate.

Applications are accepted online from 15 February to 15 March and from 15 September to 15 October. Candidates may be asked to schedule a video conference to discuss their submission, to submit a letter of reference from a lineage teacher, or to submit other documentation. Candidates will be notified of their award on 1 May and 1 December.
