Bangkok, Thailand -- To many, it is a non-issue, either because they do not believe the Theravada bhikkhuni sangha can be revived, do not see any need for it, do not think women want it, or do not even know it already exists. Yet, with Theravada bhikkhunis now found in every region of Thailand, as well as around the world, the issue cannot be ignored for long.

Engaged in life at the turn of a civilization, we must confront all crucial conflicts due to the chaos of differing ideologies mankind has been entangled in from the very beginning of civilization.

All statues and stupas should contain the Four Dharmakaya Relic mantras and the separate Zung of the Exalted Completely Pure Stainless Light mantra. The Four Dharmakaya Relic mantras are what give power to stupas. Their benefits are inconceivable.

The problem of the First Council was first raised and discussed in detail by Minayeff in 1887. (1) He thought that the chapter XI of the Cullavagga which contains an account of the First Council is riddled with contradictions, and rejected the episode of chanting of the dharma and vinaya as legend, for it was contradicted by traditions of earlier origin.

The Praj~naapaaramitaa-hrdaya-suutra( 般若波罗蜜多心         经 )is not one  of the  Vij~naanavaada's  texts, but   Kuei-chi  (窥基  )in his PPHV(  般若波罗蜜多心经幽赞         )explains its meanings with Vij~naanavada's theories   by means  of not only  borrowing  the theories  from         LAS( 楞伽经 ), MSA (大乘庄严经论  )and YCBH 瑜伽师地         论 )etc., but also reconstructing  their theories as         his new theories.  Of these the "aatyantika" (阿颠底         伽 )appears  in PPHV

It is amazing that the Buddha taught us to “GO GREEN” more than 2,600 years ago while we got thrilled and excited about this phrase only in the last few decades. The momentum of course truly picked up in this last decade with many country level commitment and signatories such as the Kyoto Protocol. 

The term “Modern Management,” is generally acknowledged as an emerging discipline in the world. The management for Sangha community has also aroused widespread concern. Based on the management of the Indian Sangha community, as well as the Han Chinese Sangha community, this article makes an analysis of the objectives in management for the Sangha community.

As long as this kammic force exists there is rebirth, for beings are merely the visible manifestation of this invisible kammic force. Death is nothing but the temporary end of this temporary phenomenon. It is not the complete annihilation of this so-called being. The organic life has ceased, but the kammic force which hitherto actuated it has not been destroyed.

Today, there are many opportunities for Buddhist Education in the modern world more than ever before. This is called global education opportunities. With the dawn of the internet the possibilities have increased immensely and the access to gain knowledge has thereby also been  increased.

This compassionate and sympathetic behavior should be offered to everybody in need, irrespective of whether you know him or not. Everybody is treated equally, their pain looked upon as if your own with no discrimination. Eventually it is extended to all creatures with feeling, so that you always treat them with pity and love. I would like to take this opportunity to discuss with you my title「Buddhist Charity and Community Work」.
